Distinctive Options is a not for profit organisation that has been supporting children and adults with a disability for over 30 years. We provide participants with services of their choice, including group and individual supports.
Individualised supports are for people who want to spend time with a support worker to achieve their goals in the community or at home. Support may include community participation, travel training, personal care, education support, recreation, social activities, holiday support, appointment attendence, in-home skill building and much more. Individualised support is available across our regions.
All staff are employed directly and have undergone all required safety checks.We will match you with a worker who is right for you. Individualised supports are available to all ages, 7 days a week. Permanent and casual support options are available.
Group supports are for people who want to spend time with other people in the community. This option provides community, social and recreational activities in a group setting. Activities may include health and wellbeing, friendship development, social skills, education, advocacy, travel training, recreation, networking and much more. Supports are available during the day, with regular opportunities for extended hours activities at night, on weekends and throughout the holidays.
