Who are we?
The team behind EDGE Community Services come from a range of different backgrounds including disability, youth services, community projects, police force, mental health & child protection. This gives EDGE greater insight and experience when creating programs that make a difference!
How are our programs different?
EDGE aims to make all our participants feel at home and valued through encouraging participant choice and control. Our program sizes are small with a staff ratio of 1:2 giving participants a personalised service. Our day programs, encourage participants to ‘Live on the EDGE’ and strive towards achieving their NDIS goals. EDGE’s tailored service allows participants to increase their independence, develop social skills and try new activities such art, community based excursions & cooking. Programs run Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm. EDGE provides a cost free breakfast & lunch for all participants. Additionally, transport can be arranged to and from program.
EDGE caters for a range of disabilities including; Autism, Down Syndrome Intellectual disabilities, ADHD, Acquired brain injuries, mental health, psychosocial disabilities, physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, speech impairments, vision loss, & mobility issues. EDGE prides itself on providing a welcoming environment for all. EDGE has an inclusive culture and is supportive of the CALD and LGBTQIA+ community.
EDGE offers an individual site tour to assess and ensure our friendly staff can meet each individual participants support needs prior to enrolment.
