St Albans FIDA, Victorian FIDA Football League, FIDA Juniors Football Program, Disability Sports and Recreation

FIDA stands for Football Integration Development Association, and it’s an Australian Rules football competition for players with an intellectual disability.

Players involved in FIDA enjoy an environment that promotes fitness, fun, friendship and a rare sense of belonging. The team will be a part of a family-centred and well-managed local football club, with a strong focus on respect and enjoyment.

The FIDA St Albans Saints team currently do footy training on every Wednesdays at
St Albans Sport Club, Kings Park Reserves oval
5:00pm – 6:00pm and are still looking for more players.

FIDA is suitable for any person male and female with a disability age 15 – 40 years old.

Note : Person over 40 years old need a medical certificate to play.

FIDA is planning to run FIDA Juniors Football Program and St Albans Saints FIDA team is one of them. FIDA Juniors Football Program is mainly for boys and girls with disabilities ages 10 years to 14.5 years old.
